| Candidate MUST HAVE BS Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with Quality training (Six Sigma Green Belt or equal) or B.S. in Industrial Engineering with Chemical and Quality training. HazMat, CPR/First Aid, Forklift trained. Licensed driver. BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION Primarily responsible for producing a quality product at or below standard cost. Through sound quality engineering principles, operating controls, policies and procedures, provides, implements and administers the Quality Department which is organic to production. Manufactures polyurethane and other chemical products. Meets production standards. Improves Plant efficiencies. Implements and improves plant programs in 5S and Lean. Improves product quality. Implements and administers plant quality program (ISO-9000). Competencies: Core competencies include the following. Other competencies as needed. Analytical skills.
