We are a financially stable company that has been in business since 1933. We are seeking a self-motivated individual, for our first shift Quality Control department. Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Duties: Perform visual and mechanical inspection of first article piece part, in-process and finished goods sampling throughout the production shift. Stamp and clear conforming parts for shipment. Make repetitive rounds on production floor to assure quality conformance of all parts before shipping. Notify department managers of problems and non-conformances. Halt production, when problems arise and set aside for management review. Seek resolution, and continuous improvements using ISO 9001 procedures. Maintain documentation associated with initial and final inspections. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college or QA technical training preferred. 2- 5 years previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within an Injection or Compression Plastics Industry. Excellent Blue Print Reading skills with interpretation of Geometrical Dimensions and Tolerances preferred. Solid experience with the use of measurement devices including: calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and optical comparator. PC Skills including Microsoft Office. Endura QI Analyst software experience is preferred. The ability to read, write and speak English. A bilingual capability in Spanish/English is a plus. Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Policies. Excellent self-management skills, able to work independently. Excellent communication skills, including oral and written. Highly organized and High-energy multi-tasker. Availability for overtime a must. Work hours currently 7am - 3:30pm with time shift on Saturday's.
