| • Evaluate, modify, design and test products
• Develop Bill of Materials • Develop MO for new products • Calculate product cost and negotiate materials pricing • Create detail drawings and production specifications, procedures and responsibilities • Reliability, endurance and stress testing analysis • Insure product safety requirements and regulations • PPAPâ€TMS, FMEAâ€TMS, SIRâ€TMS, FPAâ€TMS, Control Plans and SWIâ€TMs • Work with customers, as required, to ensure products conform to customer requirements and meet the customers needs • Work closely with Quality, Production, and Sales • Support and actively participate in departmental Kaizen activity • Perform complex dimensional, electrical, and sensory inspection on parts, units, equipment, and materials to assure compliance with drawings or specifications • Perform quality assurance inspections including sampling and inspecting incoming materials, visually inspecting packaging operations, and assisting supplier representatives during in-plant visits • Analyze prints, schematics, or drawings • Continuous review of technical and performance specifications, quality levels, sampling plans and inspection procedures • Apply judgment to interpreting test results against limits and in performing inspections • Visit customer facilities and interact as needed to address customer concerns • Audit to assure established standards of quality are maintained |
