Their product lines are specialty packaging films and bags for the vacuum food market, medical packaging for the hospital and dental fields and specialized clean room packaging. This position reports to the VP of R&D REQUIREMENTS: The individual will have a B.S. Degree in Packaging, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in the flexible packaging converting industry. Beneficial experience includes: Machinery Design, PLC programming, Knowledge of Flexible Packaging Materials, Knowledge of Converting Processes: Slitting, Laminating, Flexographic and Rotogravure Printing, Bag and Pouch Manufacturing, Design of Experiments and Six Sigma. Wants someone with films, bag making, slitting and printing experience. A mechanical or packaging engineer from a major converting or small flexible packaging convertor. Also can do product development, plant improvement projects. |
