| Software Engineer
Develop simulations and software for missile defense and army aviation programs. This Software Developer will be responsible for working with System Engineers to complete requirements definition and requirements decomposition. design plan, execute the design plan with the aid of junior software developers, code/debug the design, and formulate test procedures against all software components. In the testing phase this Software position will work closely with the Certification team, validating and resolving software defects. Duties and Responsibilities: Design Object Oriented Component solutions Creating new Windows applications based on Microsoft .Net Framework Ability to work effectively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team Desire and ability to learn new technical and design skills Excellent oral and written communication abilities 5-8 years in software development Proficient with Microsoft XP Proficient with Object Oriented Programming Proficient with MicrosoftÃf¢â,¬TMs Component Object Modeling philosophy Most, if not all software will be developed as Component Objects. Each Component Object will require a Component Test Procedure Proficient with Microsoft .Net Environment (VB.NET & C#) Most if not all development will be done using Microsoft .Net Proficient with Standard Template Library (STL) Proficient with XML Moderate experience with Microsoft VB 6.0 Moderate experience with Visual Studio 6.0 Development Environment Moderate experience with ASP and HTML Moderate experience with ADO Moderate experience using relational databases, such as SQL. Moderate knowledge of Perl and Shell scripting Education and Experience: College Degree BA or BS with a minimum of a Major in the one of the following Engineering fields: Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial |
