| Position Description:
Tandel Systems is looking for Actel FPGA Engineers to develop the Remote Interface Unit (RIU), the interface between the Command and Data Handling (C&DH) system and the sensors and effectors of the Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV). The RIU is comprised of a Controller card and three types of IO modules; Combined Input (CIN) card, Combined IO (CIO) card, and Solenoid Driver Output (SDO). Each IO card requires an Actel FPGA to perform the IO operations, for a total of three standalone FPGA designs. All applicants must have been exposed to full product life-cycle development and minimum 4 years of experience in FPGA development. The ideal candidate would have a solid working knowledge of Actel RTAX FPGA and Windows development environments. • Developing Requirements Documentation • Developing Design Documentation • Developing VHDL to implement design • Implement Design using Synplicity and Actel Designer Qualifications: • Extensive knowledge of Actel FPGA Design • Programming experience with VHDL (4+ years) • Experience with Actel RTAX FPGA • Experience with Synplicity and Actel Designer • Writing Documentation for Development and QA • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills • Knowledge of ISO9001 and CMM • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Software Engineering with High GPA Additional Qualifications: • Knowledge of Spacewire IP • Knowledge of TeamCenter data base E MAIL RECRUITING DIRECTOR RON VOGT AT; rvogt at tandelsystems.com |
