My client is the world leader in 2D and 3D design software for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets. My client has developed the broadest portfolio of state-of-the-art digital prototyping solutions to help customers experience their ideas before they are real. Fortune 1000 companies rely on my client for the tools to visualize, simulate and analyze real-world performance early in the design process to save time and money, enhance quality and foster innovation. Role: Works with sales team and resellers to drive and close business over the phone for identified accounts based on territory. Follows up on leads to create new business. Responsible for attainment of quarterly and annual team sales quotas. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Receives inbound calls and actively places a set number of outbound calls daily regarding new products and services. Follows up to close business on leads generated from demand creation events (webcasts, tradeshows, etc). Tracks and updates leads. - Generates reports on call activity and lead tracking for sales and marketing effectiveness reports. - Uses lead tracking tools to forecast reseller sales on a regular basis. Categorizes leads according to probability of sale in order to create accurate forecast report. - Provides customer quotes, proposals, order forms, and product information via email. Responds to customer inquiries regarding delivery and expedition of orders. May be authorized to give set-level discounts on quotes for new accounts. May also give customer demos via web. - Qualifies leads using Company sales process methodology. Determines customer needs, identifies features and benefits to meet those needs. Attempts to cross-sell or up-sell appropriately. Works independently or with field sales staff or resellers to close sales. Requirements: - Minimum 3+ years inside sales experience - Proven track record of high-volume sales - Previous experience selling to the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries is a plus - Experience creating and delivering effective sales proposals - Superior sales presentation skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Motivated, goal-oriented and self-directed - Strong MS Office skills and technical aptitude There are 4 roles that are currently available within an inside sales role. They are as follows: - MSD- (Manufacturing Solutions Division) this role will sell into the manufacturing vertical - COMPLIANCE- this role will monitor existing accounts to make sure clients have the proper amount of software licenses, a finesse touch will be required for this role to maintain existing relationship with clients - ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT- this role will require excellent customer service, this position requires more relationship building to cultivate more business out of existing accounts - FRENCH SALES REPRESENTATIVE- this role requires candidates maintain all of the responsibilities of the account management position, in addition the position requires the representative be fluent in French so that may sell into the French-Canadian vertical - This position will be compensated slightly higher because of the uniqueness of the requirements for the position Compensation: - 45K to 52K BASE - Total Compensation 65K to 75K (TARGET) - Accelerator program will get most salespeople to over 100K, 85% of salespeople hit the accelerator last year - PHENOMENAL BENEFITS, Paid Vacation My client is seeking to cultivate employees within these roles to move them into a management or outside sales role within the organization.
