The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including our inpatient pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and assisted-living facility. The pharmacist will be trained in our fully computerized pharmacies to perform both clinical and operational services. These include unit dose drug distribution, intravenous admixtures including chemotherapy and total parenteral nutrition, monitoring and adjusting drug therapy, answering drug information requests, assisting in the management of medical emergencies, providing patient counseling, performing chart reviews, providing diabetic education, dialysis, pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation and hospice services, participating in committees, and providing educational in-services to staff as necessary.
